As we all know that postal/Sorting assistant exam dates are near and everyone is searching for its study plan, I am going to share a study plan of it. So that all candidates can make their strategies for exam.
Study Plan
This exam consists of two sections:
Aptitude test
100 questions are asked in this section. This part consist of four sections, all with 25 questions:
- Maths
- General Knowledge
- English
- Reasoning and mental ability
Computer Test
Typing (15 min) + Data Entry (15 min). This test does not need any preparation. Just one thing, your basic typing speed should be 30 words per minute in english or 25 words per minute in hindi. So, your basic concentration should be on first part. Let me tell you how you should prepare for above sections:
Study Plan for Maths
For this section, you just need to cover basics of maths. The question's level will be moderate.
Firstly cover following topics:
- Averages
- Number System
- Time and Work
- Time and Distance
- Simplification
- Ratio and proportion.
- Probability
- Profit and loss
- Mensuration
Study Plan for English section
This section mostly cover grammar related questions. Questions will be very basic and easy if your grammar is good. For this section, must cover the following topics:
- Grammar basics
- Syllogism
- Synonyms and antonyms
- Reading Comprehensions
Study Plan for General Knowledge
- Current affairs
- Topics related to History, Geography, Polity
- Sports related knowledge
Study Plan for Reasoning and Mental Ability
For this section cover following topics:
- Problems based on Ages
- Mirror Images
- Puzzles
- Series
- Seating arrangement
