Figure This! Math Challenges For Families
A thought-provoking site for grades 5-8 that presents
students and their families with math challenges to
figure out. Each challenge has suggestions for getting
started and provides hints, an answer, other related
problems, extensions, interesting facts, and resources.
Teachers could use these as extensions of their lessons
in the classroom or they could have students access the
site and work through the challenges. A site with
problems and challenges from Algebra, Number Sense,
Geometry, Measurement, and Statistics and Probability.

numerous student interactive virtual activities that are
listed according to grade-level and subject-matter.

Practical Uses of Math and Science
- Pumas is a collection of one-page examples of how
